C’est un modèle civil, acheté neuf en juillet 1939. Exactement c’est une KM20;

Je l’ai achetée en bon état général (restauration ancienne) mais avec divers points à réparer. En première urgence, l’embrayage, complètement à changer. Pas de problème pour trouver les pièces, et ensuite le frein arrière : un propriétaire précédent avait trop envoyé de graisse par l’axe du levier et le tambour était TOTALEMENT rempli de graisse ! les garnitures étaient irrécupérables. J’ai eu la chance de trouver des mâchoires neuves chez Gary Parkin (GP-Motos) qui me les a expédiées dans un délai très court, sans avoir besoin de renvoyer les anciennes. Excellent service, merci Gary.

Here’s the 1966 Triumph Bonneville I restored recently for my French doctor. I couldn’t get the later twin leading shoe front brake to work effectively so sent the shoes to Gary for relining. Gary quickly saw that the problem was the shoes rather than the lining and supplied new shoes which have transformed the braking.

Many say the BSA cast iron full width hub brakes are a poor brakes and having owned the A7 for 45 years I would have agreed with them. But having purchased new shoes from GP-Motos, the braking has been transformed and is the best it has ever been.
